Music Director – Norris Barger

Our music director Norris Barger has been a member of Enon Baptist for nearly 24 years. Most of his time here has been spent serving as the director of our music ministry and choir.  Norris is retired from Transylvania County Schools, where he served as the Director of Business Services for 32 years. 

Norris has 2 stepsons, Beau and Brett, and enjoys spending time with his grandson, Colton. His wife, Jill, is a Transylvania County native and has served Enon as a Sunday School teacher for all of her adult life.

Norris accepted Christ as his Savior when he was 9 while attending First Baptist Church in Sylva, NC. He continues to enjoy serving God through music and other ministries.
